For in-person visits, we usually have availability within 1–3 days. Urgent issues are seen the same day. **Is HeyDoc covered by my insurance?**Standard GP care is included in the Dutch basic insurance package (eigen risico does not apply to GP consultations in the usual way — see Rijksoverheid/your insurer for details). HeyDoc is a contracted provider for**Aon Student Insurance**; for other international insurers, ask us to confirm billing before your first visit. **Can I keep my GP if I move within Leiden?**Yes, as long as you stay within our service area. If you move outside the 15-minute radius, you'll need to register with a closer practice (regulatory requirement, not our preference). **What if I need a specialist?**In the Netherlands, GPs are the gatekeeper to specialist care.
