## Why is there no waiting list at HeyDoc?

Many practices in the Leiden region have patient stops or long waiting lists. HeyDoc deliberately kept capacity open by combining a physical practice at Lammenschansweg with digital consultations via chat and video, which lets us serve more patients faster without compromising care quality.

More than 70% of consultations are handled entirely digitally. Average response time on working days is under one hour. For anything requiring a physical examination, we schedule an in-practice appointment or in-house diagnostics right away.

- Come to Lammenschansweg 15B, Leiden, once with valid ID for legal identification.
- Personal activation link by email; set a password and configure two-factor authentication.
- From that moment, chat or video-call your own HeyDoc GP directly.

Can I really register at HeyDoc without a waiting list?

Yes, as of April 2026 there is no waiting list for registration at HeyDoc. New registrations are usually processed within one working day via heydoc.nl/patient-worden.

Do I pay extra to be registered at HeyDoc?

No. GP care at HeyDoc falls under Dutch basic health insurance and is fully covered. Only your own risk (eigen risico) applies, as with any GP.

Can I use HeyDoc alongside my current GP?

No. Dutch law allows only one registered GP at a time. Registering at HeyDoc means HeyDoc becomes your primary GP.

Is HeyDoc a real GP practice or just an app?
