## Which ultrasounds does HeyDoc perform in-house?

We perform the following ultrasound exams in our own practice:

- Upper abdomen (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, aorta)
- Lower abdomen (bladder, prostate, gynaecological on indication)
- Thyroid
- Carotid arteries and deep veins (DVT diagnostics)
- Soft tissue (lymph nodes, swellings, abscesses, superficial tendon/joint)
- Musculoskeletal (shoulder, knee on indication)

## Why in the GP practice instead of the hospital?

For standard ultrasound, a GP with ultrasound equipment is often faster than the hospital. You save a referral, waiting time for a hospital slot, travel, and in some cases hospital-related own-risk paperwork.
